The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) is responsible for funding adult further education and skills training. 

The Young People's Learning Agency (YPLA) provides financial support for education and training for 16 to 19 year olds in partnership with local authorities.

Skills funding is overseen by the Department for Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DCELLS) within the Welsh Assembly Government.

The Scottish Government works with learndirect scotland and Skills Development Scotland to advise businesses and learners on available funding for training programmes and Modern Apprenticeships.
