What to include with your request
You should provide any information or copies of documents that will help us with our search. So for example if you have a photocopy of your certificate, a certificate of unit credits or results list or if you've changed your name since you registered for the qualification, then include this information along with your request form.
How long will it take?
We aim to respond and complete all record search requests within 14 days. If you have requested a replacement certificate then please allow a further 14 days for receipt. To help ensure a successful, speedy response please check that your form is correctly completed and you have included as much detail as possible.
Is there a cost for these services?
There is a small charge of £15 + VAT for a record search and £25 + VAT for each replacement certificate. Payments can be made either by sending a cheque (payable to 'EAL') with your completed form, or by providing your credit/debit card details on the request form.
This fee is non-refundable so please ensure you provide us with as much detail as possible when sending your request.
