Become an Independent End-Point Assessor for EAL

EAL is on the government's register of Approved End-Point Assessment organisations and we are currently looking for independent End-Point Assessors for the standards below:

End-Point Assessor Role Requirements

The role of our End-Point Assessors is to:

  • Assess and document an apprentice's competence against the specific apprenticeship standard at designated venues using the stated assessment methods
  • Provide advice and support on End-Point Assessment sites
  • Participate in standardisation activities to ensure a consistent approach to End-Point Assessment
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of EAL's End-Point Assessment policies and procedures

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Are occupationally competent with current experience in the apprenticeship/industry area you will assess
  • Hold an assessor qualification (D32, D33, A1 or Level 3 TAQA Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) or equivalent experience of assessing
  • Hold the qualifications/experience as specified in the assessment requirements of the standard
  • Have experience working with Quality Assurance processes and complying with regulatory requirements
  • Have excellent IT, communication, organisation and planning skills
  • Have a current driving licence and flexibility to travel across you area

EAL provides a comprehensive training programme for all End-Point Assessors which will ensure that you are kept up to date with the latest requirements and quality assurance procedures, this includes:

  • An induction programme
  • Updates by email and webinars
  • Briefing and policy documents
