What is EAL Approved?
EAL Approved is our name for the formal recognition of a training centre’s in-house courses. It provides validation and course accreditation services to assure learners and employers that your course meets the standards of EAL, the preferred assessment organisation for engineering and manufacturing.
With EAL Approved, training providers can create bespoke accredited training courses suited to local skills needs. Employers can boost workers’ technical skills and knowledge with qualifications approved by a leading assessment organisation.

How does EAL Approved work?
Our evaluators will review your course materials and assessments, and assess it against our training accreditation requirements. Throughout the approval process you’ll get support from our expert evaluators, as well as an introduction to dedicated account manager, and access to our specialist technical advisors.
Your course will be assessed by an independent product panel, and its decision validated by an independent Head of Department.
EAL awards certificates to learners who complete the accredited training course, signifying that they’ve officially gained the skills and knowledge they studied for on an EAL Approved training course. We will also ensure the course continues to meet required standards by performing ongoing quality assurance checks.
