EAL Level 2 Award in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification

This qualification provides an opportunity for learners to refresh their practical skills and knowledge prior to undertaking the EAL Level 3 Award In the Initial verification and Certification of Electrical Installations 600/4337/4. It also provides an opportunity for learners to gain fundamental knowledge and skills of inspection, testing and initial verification. 

This qualification comprises of a single knowledge unit which covers: safe isolation, requirements for initial verification, initial inspection, safe testing and commissioning; and completion of documentation for a typical single phase electrical installation. 

Learners must be at least 16 years old.
